Can you wire a 2 Humbucker 2 volume 1 tone guitar WITHOUT the three way switch?
What is the difference between the middle position of a three way switch where both pups are engaged, and just wiring it without the switch? If I do this with one volume it works fine, if I wire it with 2 volumes, if either volume pot is turned down, it shuts down the system, not like the middle position where if one pickup is turned down, the other pup still goes.
Yes,you can,and it will work just fine!!!!Put the humbuckers outputs on the middle connection of the pot. and the output jack on one extreme of the pot. so if you cut one pick. the other still work!!!!
