i am looking at the Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar. i am deciding over two colors the faded cherry or the fireburst with gold hardware. they both have different pickups and i want to know which one is better for my playing style. the faded cherry comes with burstbucker pros and the fireburst comes with 490R and 498T Alnico II magnet humbucker pickups. i already have a fender strat american so i am using this guitar mostly for band like Guns n Roses, Led Zep, Metallica, Staind, Three Days grace, and black ssabbath. please help me make my decision!

To be honest with you, I really don't think it matters all that much. They are pretty much comparable.
The sounds you want are more a product of your amp settings and/or effect boxes than what type of humbucker you use.
I would defy anyone to really tell you which pickup was which in a blind listening test.
Any humbucker is going to give you more gain than a single coil Fender pickup.
I'd just get whatever guitar you like the looks of best and not worry about the negligible difference between the two types of pickups.
