guys i need help... currently i have a generic guitar which doesnt sound that great, string height too high which is in its lowest, which im having trouble getting a good grip when playing notes on higher frets, i dont know if its just me being a noob. also i have 3 stompboxes (Boss Metal Zone, Super Overdrive, and an Analog Delay)
im considering to buy a Multi-effects, ive been playing for 5 years now... my purpose is to get more "juice" out especially playing live which i think i could get if i buy a Multi Effects processor... but i was thinking to get a new guitar... i cant decide what's more important.. please help guys. thanks!
Definitely need to get a good guitar first. You need to have a foundation for a good tone and that is best achieved with a decent guitar and amp. Once you have both these things, then you invest in effects pedals... effects pedals just add icing on the cake... What you can do if you really are in need of effects is to invest in both, but first get a guitar and then buy a lower end model of an effects pedal, I personally started my journey with effects pedals with an RP200 from digitech. Then as you keep playing you can accumulate effects pedals over time...
