Are Martin Smith Guitars good?
I'm looking into buying my first guitar, as I've been borrowing my friends for a while now and I think it's time to get my own.
The one I've been most interested in is by Martin Smith, but because I don't know much about guitars I don't know if these are mediocre or completely awful.
It costs around £60, and I know that for that amount it won't be mind-blowing, but what I want to know is if it will make an okay sound, won't fall apart on me and last a reasonably long time.
If you know anything about these guitars, have one, or have owned one, please answer because I don't know much and I don't want to waste my well earned money.

For a beginning guitarist all that matters is the sound and you want to make sure it has good tuning pegs so it's not always falling out of tune.
Even well known brands like fender, yamaha, ibanez make cheaper guitars... if you play it and you like how it feels and sounds, that's really all that matters for a beginning guitarist.
*** the main thing you want to be sure of is that the neck isn't warped... look down the neck of the guitar ( like a shotgun) that would be a deal breaker.
