Wiring speakers with toggle switch?
I want to add a toggle switch to my rear speaker wires so i am able to turn them on and off. I bought a DPDT (double pole, double throw) that has an ON-OFF switch. It has 4 prongs and i was wondering where the neg and pos wires get connected.
Just cut the pos wires from the speakers and install the switch. One contact per speaker. There is no need to cut both the pos and neg wires, only need to break the circuit with one wire.
