Is it worth trying to fix my custom Les Paul guitar or just buy a Les Paul 100?
Me and my grandpa built this Les Paul that looks sick. Of course it doesn't work well at all and the local guitar shop worker isn't even sure he can fix it. I have to spend 115 bucks minimum too, it'll prob go up to 200. Now is it worth getting this possibly fixed, or should I just buy a Les Paul from epiphone and possibly disappoint my grandfather.
When you say "it doesn't work", do you mean the electronics? Unless you're trying to do some super complicated active electronics in the guitar, that's no big deal.

It shouldn't be that hard to get it working. Even if you have to put some money in it, you'll have a one of a kind that's probably made just as well (if not better) than some P.O.S. import.
You'll look back at this later and realize how special that guitar really is.
