Single Locking Guitar Bridge?
Does anyone know if there is a guitar bridge that locks down the strings like a floyd rose but has no whammy bar or locking nut? Im looking for a guitar that can re use strings when they break.
currently there is no such animal.
the locking bridge (and locking nut) were designed specifically to keep the strings from being pulled out of tune when the whammy bar is used.
your best bet would be to buy one with a whammy bar and just take the bar off, leaving the bridge.
