I recently bought a loop pedal and havent been able to use it alot until now. I bought it to record rhythm guitar parts, then play lead over them( i think its called overdub? ) When the loop part plays through my amp it sounds fine, but when i play a random note on my guitar, the loop sound turns to static and sounds horrible. Im not sure what's wrong... any1 have any ideas?

First of all, be sure everything is hooked up correctly. Some loop pedals have a different input and output combinations that allow you to play a loop through a separate amp.
From your description it almost sounds like there is a problem with the amperage of the adapter. Be sure to use ONLY the correct adapter for the unit. (different adapters may have the right voltage but not enough milliamps)
When recording a loop, it is normal to record by stepping on a foot-switch, and stepping on it again to stop recording and "hold" the pattern. Other loopers have you step on AND hold the pedal down while recording the loop and lift your foot to "save" the recording. Depending on how your unit functions, you may have a malfunction in the input process that causes the loop to dump its memory after the loop is saved by any signal fed into the input. If this is the case then you need to take the unit back to the store where you got it. Let them see if they get the same malfunction in the store. If not then they can instruct you as to what is happening and how to correct it.
