You link does not work, Thought you might like to know that. So I cannot see what you have linked to, but I do know what an Epiphone Les Paul Standard is. Yes, it is a very good guitar. Yes, it cost quite a bit of money, so I can understand your concern. The guitar is a good one. Whether it is the best fit for you, I could not tell you. There is so much personal preference involved in selecting a guitar. For instance: The type of music you play. Your particular playing style. Your body shape. Your preference for neck profiles (back of the neck shape). Preference for fretboard radius (curvature of the fretboard). Whether you prefer a heavy goitar (Les Paul is pretty heavy) or a lighter guitar. If the guitar feels comfortable to you and if the neck and fretboard feel good in your hands, then you have made a good choice. In general the Les Paul is a very good guitar, so it may be a good fit for you.
