What year is my Vintage Silvertone Acoustic Guitar?
The only markings on the guitar are a large "MADE IN USA" stamp inside the body, as well as a smaller serial number stamp which appears to read "F-62-10". It has a flat head and appears to be from around the 1960s, but that is just a guess. Does anyone know what the serial numbers mean? Thanks a lot!

I found this link (http://www.broadwaymusicco.com/Harmony25.htm) that asks about dating them and it sounds like the serial number you're talking about my actually be the date stamp. On the site I linked to, it says,
"Most Harmony acoustic instruments have a date stamp on the inside of the body (tone chamber). The mark will look something like F-68JT, The F stands for Fall, as in the season the 68 stands for 1968, the other marks may be a shift, production or plant number."
So, if that's true, then it sounds like your guitar was made in the Fall of 1962.
