How do I save up for a Epiphone or Gibson guitar?
I like the Gibson and Epiphone's J-160E model, Hummingbird model, J-45 model (the one Donovan used to have in Cherry Sunburst), ES-335, Les Paul, SG, and Gibson B-45-12 string acoustic.
You can obviously save up your pennies in a savings account or you can go to a couple of music shaops and simply ask them if they do interest free credit, and if they do, arrange to have a standing order pay them out of your bank account.
Another way is to hire the guitar from them and see if you get on with it.
Most shops have a hire facility and are then happy to knock off the rental from the original price so you have three months to save the difference.
It is worth asking for a discount on the top price as the guitar may have been loaned out to many people and should be considered a "Second hand" item.
