Anyone know of any weird and wonderful, well priced bass effects pedals?
Basically i wanna buy some weird effect pedals to create some weird/crazy sounds. I've already got a bass chorus and two distortion pedals which i can make a bunch of weird sounds with, i just need to fill up my pedal board really its lookin a bit empty. I've been searching for a flanger with an expression pedal but can't find any anywhere so if you know anything about one of those that would be useful as well 
flanger is a great choice. But for weird, I have to say to go with an envelope filter. Its like a "touch wah", if you dont know what it is. The wah is more pronounced based on how hard you hit the strings. Be careful though. i dont know if they make bass envelope filters. If you try to play through a guitar one, you might blow out its circuits. Im not sure about that though. I know you will destroy a guitar amp by playing a bass through it. Not sure about effects. You could also try an octave divider, which plays the octave above or below the note you are actually playing. Those are kind of funky. Look on ebay.
