How do you access the fuses on a Kenmore Custom electric range?
I think I blew out my oven fuse. I know they are in the top part of the stove, I can see them behind the light. But how does one get the cowling off to change them without breaking it?
If I could see the stove, I might be able to tell you, as I have accessed fuses on many different stoves. If there is a friendly handy person in the neighbourhood, you could ask them, or you could go to a Sears repair depot and ask them. Or even go to a Sears store and ask a salesperson. You might follow the advice of Sage which I copied below.

Even though the stove is a used one you can still request a manual from Sears.com. "parts" ordering menu. With Sears, Manuals are considered "Parts". Each part has its own 'Part Numb'. I got the phone number from the Sears.com site and ordered that way.
Sears seems to have every manual and part for their products dating to the early 20th century or more. They sent me a manual and replacement hardware for my 1970 Kenmore sewing machine!! I was shocked!
