Which guitar should I buy?
I am a keen folky bluesy songwriter and for years have played a battered old tinny buzzy nylon stringed acoustic guitar with a two inch dent in the bottom. I'm at the stage of buying a new baby but I've never really paid much attention to the different types of guitar. Any hints for websites that'll talk me through the merits of different types? I figure no-one will have the patience to go through it here for me!! Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised!
I have a reasonable amount of money to spend(350 notes). I want to know a bit more about the merits of different types of guitars!

Some great answers. Thanks a lot! I'm fairly certain I don't want a fully electric guitar, I like the resonance of acoustic. Any thoughts on steel strung acoustics? Or Electro-acoustics?
