I play a Hagstrom Super Swede through a Peavy Windsor if it makes any difference.
That Line6 Uber Metal has a built in noise gate I think, that would be a good idea.
I would suggest either the Electro Harmonix Metal muff or the Boss Metal Zone petal. I own both and I would say the Metal Zone is a little better.
