Classic rock, melancholy song, chorus "La La La" or "Na na na" about 9 times.?
I only remember the chorus and it goes "la la la..." or "na na na..." 9 times. A brief pause of complete silence then 3 beats of a synthesizer. Male voice, possibly a group. 70's sound, like a song from a Paul Thomas Anderson film. Melancholy music, signaling an end of something. Not much to go by, I heard it briefly in a market.
The song is at least 25 years old, most likely older. It's a down tempo, song. "Wonder Years" or "Magnolia" type of feel. Possibly a rock band doing a slow song.
Not Hey Jude, not delfonics. The other songs are way off. Very slow and melancholy.
None suggested. Not a cheerful song. The sound is more Pink floyd, Led zeppelin, Supertramp, etc. Not popish like Journey and not catchy nor feel good. It's more bittersweet, disillusioned. Like music you'd hear after an Oliver Stone movie. Sorry not much to go by, but I have to find it.
