Tascam Guitar Trainer

the horse im taking to a show has a tendancy to ignore cues, so ill tap him on the shoulder with a crop to wake him up and then he listens. i only have colored crops, no black ones and the show is tomarrow so its too late to get a black one. i have a dark blue one with tinsel in it. an aqua one, and a pink one. my horse is a black and white paint...would it matter if i used a colored one? also, its just a schooling show, but there are going to be some pretty competative people there that make it somewhat unfair for the people who are new to showing (like me).
