Is this outfit appropriate for a corporate Christmas party?
The stated dress code is 'snazzy, stylish, holiday chic' according to the official memo. It will take place in a convention center with a lot of Christmas decorations. There will be a dinner and dancing will follow afterward. The music will be a mix of jazz, pop and rock.
The outfit I am leaning towards wearing is as such. Thin silver necklace with a heart shaped pendant. Red party dress. Sleeveless. Somewhat low cut as almost all cocktail or party dresses seem to be. Some glittery sequins on the front of the dress and a partial open back. A thick black belt with silver buckle on my waist. The skirt is a triangle skirt that goes 75% of the way to my knees. Opaque black patterned pantyhose. Knee high black leather boots with a thin shiny silver heel.
For past parties, I have seen a lot of the ladies, especially the younger ones let loose and wear very sexy outfits, in good taste of course. Would my outfit fall into that category? Would you recommend any changes to my outfit?

Footwear: Black leather knee high boots with a thin silver heel is perfect! Knee high boots are one of the best accessories a girl can have as they look great with the right outfit and definitely add a dash of spice to an already great looking outfit. Sandals can be boring as they are barely noticeable. Boots are also great for dancing as they give you extra support and padding.
