can you stack bass guitar cabinets with different size speakers.?
i was looking at amps and i was wondering if and how well it would work out if you stacked a 4 by 10" speakers with 350 watts continuous power on a 1 15" speaker with 250 watts continuous. if so, how would this sound and would it equal out to 600 total watts or does it not work like that?

You couldn't do it from the same head because the 4x10 and the 1x15 would have different ohms and speaker impedances. But you could do it if you split the signal to two different heads with a headbone or an A/B Switch and run different ohms from heads to cabs. Geddy Lee goes so far as to split his signal at the pickup level and run them through different heads, and into different speakers within a cab. All of it can be done, but its difficult and expensive. You would get a very clarified tone, and more wattage... but not necessarily a corresponding increase in decibel level.
