Medical Replacement of my 6 Speed Ferrari F355 for an automatic What would you buy? Budget up to $100K?
After years of enjoyment, I need to sell or trade my 1995 Ferrari F355 value +/- ($65k). I have to switch from a 6 speed to an automatic trans due to problems with a left big toe (bone has to be fused). Budget up to $100K - I have looked for an older Shelby GT, Classic Corvette with Auto, New ones too! Also the Porsche 996 Twin Turbo Tiptronic? Another F360 Modena with F1 Shifter? Or... What do I buy? Restoring an old English classic now - so I will that for later and yes it will be converted to an Automatic when I am done. Thanks!
I'd get an M-B SL55, or a Porsche Carrera4S with Tiptronic. Both are fast, handle great, reliable and very comfortable. Then again, I have a 06 Mazda Miata with a 6-speed auto & paddle shifters, and to me it's way more fun per $$ than any of the above. Oh, and I get just under 30 mpg
