I have a gold mine but do not want to be in the gold mine business?
I have a gold mine, I spent a year finding it, and started mining it. I proved to friends that there was gold in it. But could not get much help, I hired a crew of diggers, and they produced enough gold to pay them 10 times over.
Proving to the diggers there was gold there.
But I do not want to be in the gold mine business.
I was thinking of leasing it to the diggers, and take a percentage, but friends feel I will lose control of the mine.
So what to do? I need business suggestions, that I will not be unhappy with latter.
well sounds like you have a real dilemna. leasing it would not be wise at all. best bets would be to either sell the land or company or if you want to keep it than you need to hire a manager to take control of the company so that you don't have to do all the work. you don't want to lose control it sounds like, so your best bet would just be to find a management solution.
