Guitar re-stringing problem?!?
I bought some Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings and Ive put the E and A strings in so far and they buzz alot, but only when I play an open string, why are they buzzing? and also they sound terrible comapred to my old ones, they sound too high even after tuning them to Drop C, do I have to break them in?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated,

they might be larger in caliper than the old ones & therefore hitting the frets. You can file the frets down if you want to keep them, this will increase the action & playability, but don't file down too much; you could also raise the bridge. They prob. won't change sound as you break them in.
