Found a Hole in my Gum :/?
I have had a tooth ache for about 4-5 days now.. i have just looked at the affected area and to my shock there is a hole about 4-5 mils wide and deep.. its right behind my back tooth its black in color.. i haven't lost a tooth lol! i take good care of myself and brush once twice daily and use mouthwash regularly.. any one have an idea as to what this could be?
im booking an appointment tomorrow but want to try put my mind at ease that it's not anything serious..
More than likely its an erupting wisdom tooth. The affected area would/can be painful and red. The "hole" you describe would be where the tooth is erupting.
