Guitar Help? Telecaster?
OK I've decided to get a fender telecaster. But I was wondering what kid of guitar picks and amp i should get!~ And i was wondering if it was a good guitar to learn how to play on??? Should i learn to play before i buy it? ( i don't own any other guitar sooo)
and i want to buy it from Guitar center but i don't like the fact the i cant try it my self (cant play)and I'm afraid they may give me some weird looks if i walk in and say i want a Telecaster but cant play guitar yet!
For picks i was thinking these because a friend who has been playing for 6 years suggested them (if not these what should i get?)

And for the amp I'm not sure i don't need any thing big and an amazing or really expensive just some thing that will let me get a good clean sound or/and a good distorted sound

You should try and find one of those guitar starter kits with guitar/amp/cord/strap etc.
Right now you really have no idea what kind of guitar you want. Even the variations on Telecasters are so numerous that the most knowledgeable people get bogged down with it all.
You just need to start playing so you can see how you do and how you like it. As your style and skill develops you will learn what you like and dislike and then make a better decision on what kind of guitar you like.
And it won't stay that way forever. As you progress your wants and needs will change depending on a number of factors.
