Squier Affinity Precision Fender bass?
okay.. so i have a couple questions in regard to this bass
how much would a brand new Squier precision bass cost?
would $100 be a good price for a used (but great condition) squier bass?
(because i have the opportunity to buy one at this price+ $50 for shipping)
$150 sounds like an amazing price for a guitar..which...may not be an original fender, but still seems to get the job done
i have never played one (and wouldn't know how a bass should really sound like as THIS IS MY FIRST)
but... does anyone who owns a precision bass have any to comments about it?
(the fact that its the most bought bass guitar should mean something)
The Squier bass is made in Japan. Not the US. Now, I have a Mexican made Jazz bass and I love it. The cheaper foreign made Fenders (Squiers) have come along way since their inception. If you're just starting out I suggest you buy the Squier. $150.00 sounds about right. If you like it and want to step up to an American Standard that's fine. If you decide that you don't want to play bass...well then you haven't blown $700.00! Good luck and enjoy.
