How long until the aging process of a solid-body guitar becomes noticable? (Tone wise)?
From personal experience or just general knowledge. How many years does it usually take for a guitar (used daily) to acquire a different tone due to aging wood / vibrations.

The aging process of the wood of the body has little noticeable effect on the solid body electric guitar. Not nearly as much as does the acoustic. With a good acoustic after a few years, I notice a mellowing of the tone. With my electric guitars, I do not notice much.
There are so many factors in the sound of a solid body electric in addition to the body. Over the years, I change brands or sizes of strings. I switch amps. I change speaker cabs, or just change the speakers in a cab. I sometimes swap out the pickups to alter the tone. So even though I have some guitars that I have had for 50 years, I cannot identify what tone change is from the aging of the wood in the body and what is due to one of those other factors. With the acoustic is much easier to identify tonal changes in the guitar do to the aging of the wood.
