Should I stay or should I go...?
i feel like bashing myself. I graduated a while ago with a good BA, but with virtually no hope of getting a career in my field (History/Philosophy, despite getting a 1.1 final grade). I work in a steady job that im good at but i hate its IT work, wtf?!
i enrolled in an evening course for an LLB to spruce up my CV, hopefully to get promotion. But Im having doubts. Should I finish this course, that will take two years, even though i dont want to pursue a career in law?
I fancy doing a hDip in Social Work and then a Masters. Should i continue in the LLB and then go for the hDip, or cut all ties and lick my financial losses... And go for the social work thing next year? Im 24.
There is no point continuing with something you hate. Why waste two more years studying for something you don't like or have no plans to use when finish. Go for the social work and maybe you get better chance of a job in the state sector working as a social worker.
